Everton are eyeing Stuttgart winger Jamie Leweling amid the ongoing decision over Tyrique George’s future.
David Moyes has barely used George since making his move to Merseyside on loan in the January window.
Regardless, the 20-year-old winger could remain at Everton through his £20m option-to-buy clause.
Where will Everton be in the table by 6pm on Sunday afternoon? 🥲
The Blues could finish as low as 14th… 😫
Whether Everton take up that option remains to be seen, with the Blues believed to be eyeing Stuttgart winger Leweling following his impressive 2025/26 campaign.

Everton eyeing summer swoop for Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling
Everton are looking to add a new winger this summer despite the decisions needing to be made over both George and Jack Grealish.
A report from Sky Sports Germany has claimed Everton are one of the sides showing an interest in Leweling.
The Toffees are joined by Bournemouth in showing ‘concrete interest’ in the right-winger, who is valued at €50m (£43m) by Stuttgart.
How has Thomas Tuchel taken Jordan Henderson over James Garner? 😡
Where Everton may fall short in the race to sign the 25-year-old is Stuttgart can offer Champions League football, and Bournemouth could also seal their spot in the competition on Sunday.
However, the winger’s 2025/26 campaign has demonstrated just how big of an addition Leweling could be on Merseyside.
Leweling would be a major upgrade on Tyrique George
Playing a key role in guiding Stuttgart to a fourth-place finish in the Bundesliga, Leweling was certainly one of the top performers.
In his 32 league appearances, the 25-year-old returned seven goals and nine assists (11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions).
Granted, Leweling would land on Merseyside at over double the price of what George would cost Everton from Cheslea, but the output speaks for itself.
| 2025/26 (All competitions) | Jamie Leweling | Tyrique George (Chelsea & Everton) | Jack Grealish |
| Appearances | 49 | 21 | 22 |
| Minutes | 3447 | 674 | 1723 |
| Goals | 11 | 3 | 2 |
| Assists | 12 | 1 | 6 |
Then comes the debate over Grealish’s future.
Grealish has made it clear he’d like to remain at Everton, but nearing the age of 31, and on the back of a significant injury, the money involved may leave some Everton supporters cautious.
Leweling could certainly add to what Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye bring at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with his ability also opening the door for squad rotation to try and manage players’ minutes.
