Everton’s little unbeaten streak continues in the Premier League as Fulham secured a 1-0 win, and fans all made the same point about Dominic Calvert-Lewin from what they saw.
This was a performance unlike any of the ones from recent weeks under Sean Dyche. His side look unsure on the structure they were setting up in and ran out of ideas, as well as offering very little going forward.
But, a late goal from Beto of all people saved the day.
Everton still find themselves six points ahead of the relegation zone, but improvements are needed.
Michael Keane played fairly well at the heart of the defence, and Dyche even chucked him up top towards the end of the game, which speaks volumes when he took Dominic Calvert-Lewin off.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s display against Fulham
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was brought off for Beto after 81 minutes.
He only managed 29 touches in the game, a passing accuracy of 60%, one key pass, won ten duels, lost possession 13 times, offside three times, dribbled past once and made one interception.

Many Everton fans thought that Dominic Calvert-Lewin played well against Ipswich Town last weekend, despite squandering a number of chances.
He wasn’t able to get on the scoresheet this time round either, but he did add to his offside tally.
Everton fans all make the same big point about Dominic Calvert-Lewin
These Everton fans, when speaking on X, all said that Dominic Calvert-Lewin was starved of service and couldn’t have done a great deal about it.
“I wouldn’t blame DCL leaving he gets terrible service.” @shrekfacethema1 said.
@LordStu1234 also defended him: “Dcl is so isolated if we are going to go long play 2 up there and get rid of Doucoure or Gana.”
@iceman6999 stated: “Have to be fair on DCL feeding on scraps here.”
@kristianooo1 mentioned: “Can see exactly why DCL won’t sign his contract. Home to Fulham and he’s feeding on nothing!”
“How can DCL ever make an impact in any game when they constantly give him poor service.. he takes a lot of flack for other people’s poor showings.” @GollinsAsh also believes the service is to blame.
@LJBest92 commented: “DCL needs better service instead of long balls, but Beto does deserve more minutes.”
