Everton fans are starting to warm to a decision Farhad Moshiri made at Everton in 2022 that caused a meltdown at the time.
Farhad Moshiri may not be in the hotseat at Everton for much longer with the Friedkin Group looking to push through their Everton takeover by mid-December at the latest.
There have been the odd few good times at Everton for Moshiri, but there have been plenty of bumps in the road and in order to allow Everton to reach the next level a sale is the right option.
The new stadium will provide the platform for Everton to launch off from under new ownership, and they’ll have the opportunity to give whoever the manager is a squad to challenge with in the summer.
However, for now, Everton fans have been reflecting on a Moshiri decision in 2022 that caused a meltdown at the time, but now they’re starting to warm to.
Richarlison suffers fresh injury at Tottenham
Marco Silva brought Richarlison to Goodison Park in 2018.
Richarlison remained a key figure in the Everton side under Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benítez and Frank Lampard, as well as establishing himself on the international stage with Brazil.
He appeared 152 times for the Toffees, scoring 53 goals and assisting 13.
He moved to Tottenham for £60 million in the summer of 2022, but things haven’t gone to plan since.
Injuries have been a constant theme and he’s just suffered his latest and is set to be out for a significant time out on the sidelines (as per Daily Mail).

These Everton fans, when speaking on X, all brought up how Richarlison put his all into saving Everton from relegation.
“Without a doubt Everton saw Richarlison’s best years. In hindsight, selling him when we did was probably the best bit of business the club has done in years. Even if was deemed £20million below market value.”, @Iancroll1 said.
