Everton fans have all said the same thing about Beto after his midweek international performance for Guinea-Bissau.
Guinea-Bissau were defeated by a goal to nil against Ethiopia in their latest World Cup qualifying game, leaving them fourth in the Group A table.
The 27-year-old has struggled for the Toffees since joining the club in 2023, and his first international performance will have done little to improve his confidence.
Unfortunately, Everton fans have now started voicing their opinions on the matter, and it isn’t a positive outlook for Beto.

Everton fans believe they should ‘cut their losses’ with Beto
Beto played the full 90 minutes for his national side, giving him the chance to try and score his first goal since August, but he was unable to do that.
While his performance wasn’t disastrous, Everton fans were alarmed after seeing Beto miss an open net during the game.
The striker had the ball played to him across goal, which went past the opponent’s goalkeeper and defenders. However, despite there being nothing in his way, Beto dragged his shot wide.
It was an individual error that left Everton fans furious, and they have urged the club to now move on from Beto at the first available opportunity.
Another fan claimed that the miss was “absolutely horrendous,” as they stated that he has “no standout attributes.”
A different supporter, who has evidently given up on Beto, responded, “Cut our losses in January if we can bring in at least one replacement. ”
After seeing footage of the shot, one person asked, “is that Beto miss for real?”
Someone was slightly more supportive of the club’s decision not to sell him but did state that “maybe he’s not the one you’d want to start for us.”
Beto is struggling to provide the firepower needed for Everton
Beto has struggled to provide consistent goals for Everton since he joined the club, as he hasn’t provided the prolific performances that the team needs.
That has continued under David Moyes this season, as Beto has scored just once in the Premier League, despite featuring in all seven of Everton’s games.
Moyes admitted his disappointment in Beto during the summer, revealing that he had to speak to him privately to try and get more out of his performances.

Everton are concerned that they need another striker, and the club is preparing to make moves in the January transfer window to fill this void.
Whether Beto would be departing Everton to make way for a new player is unclear at this point, but the club is looking at potential replacements for him.
