Everton only made one addition in the January transfer window.
Carlos Alcaraz, who joined on a six-month loan from Flamengo, was David Moyes’ only signing of the window.
Alcaraz’s deal includes a £15m buy obligation if he starts six games are more, which he is currently not on course to do.
The Argentinian midfielder has made just two starts so far, with Abdoulaye Doucoure preferred over him at the moment.
With that said, Everton fans have now had their say on what they’ve made of Alcaraz’s first few weeks on Merseyside.

Everton fans aren’t totally convinced by Carlos Alcaraz
Everton fans have been replying to the post below with their thoughts and many are not convinced by Alcaraz.
“The jury is definitely still out. Something is not right if Moyes is choosing to start Doucoure in front of you,” @barryjb4 commented.
@Gary_khan replied: “Hasn’t made much of an impact loses the ball easily and struggles to pick out a pass for the striker.”
“Think he’s done ok with limited time, maybe a bit more acclimatisation to PL that’s why he’s not starting, but he must close a good option in lieu of Doucoure,” @endoever39871 added.
@aide_dews said: “Yeah he’s looked decent in fits and starts, nothing spectacular. If the price is right I’d sign him this summer.”
“He’s no James Rodriguez,” @matteusjack said.
@BrianWilli567 posted: “I think he’s still finding his feet in the team and Prem at the moment but what he has done is shown great potential for us won’t be easy with any language barrier though.”
Everton could be playing a clever game with Alcaraz
There has been a suggestion that Everton could purposely avoid starting Alcaraz in six games in order to ensure his £15m clause isn’t activated.
That’s not because they aren’t happy with the 22-year-old, in fact, Moyes is desperate to sign him this summer, but it’s instead with the intention of renegotiating a better deal.
That could explain why Doucoure has been starting ahead of him in recent weeks, so the Argentinian may be reduced to just cameo appearances until the end of the season.
