The Friedkin Group have just completed their Everton takeover.
Everton announced the Friedkin’s on Thursday morning, as they formally completed the purchase of Farhad Moshiri’s majority stake.
The American investors have been in the waiting for three months since agreeing a deal with Moshiri back in September.
The Friedkin Group have been making plans in the background throughout this process and have already confirmed a new hire on the Everton board.
Everton staff are really excited about the new owners and Moshiri has also been full of praise for them in his parting message.
Moshiri said the Friedkin’s are the best outcome for Everton as he wrote his final letter to the Goodison Park faithful.
Everton fans have been reacting to Moshiri’s letter and reflecting on his tenure as a whole, with many in full agreement.

Everton fans have mixed emotions about Farhad Moshiri
Reacting to Moshiri’s farewell message on X (formerly known as Twitter), many Everton fans voiced their mixed emotions about his tenure at the club, with the common theme thanking him for the new stadium on Bramley Moore-Dock.
“Fair enough, he got a lot wrong but without him no stadium. Unfortunately he made to many mistakes consistently listening to the wrong people. I thank him for that and wish him well, as I do believe his intentions were for us to succeed,” @billgr1878 said.
@D6672785696915 posted: “His legacy will be the stadium just a shame the way it all panned out best for everyone for fresh start.”
“He got some big calls wrong (Benitez, Kia advice etc) but I’m sure he regrets them, he gave us Carlo and more importantly BMD so should get some credit for that too,” @howarth1878 commented.
@StDomingo1878 said: “Genuinely believe his intentions were good, but made a right mess of it. He did though deliver the finest new stadium that any Blue could have hoped for. Assuming the Friedkin group delivers, then that will ultimately be Moshiri’s legacy.”
“Think he had the best intentions but led astray by super agents and bad advise, however does deserve a thank you for the new stadium,” @michellelu1985 admitted.
@YurHavingALaugh said: “Fair play to him, can’t really argue with the comments. He was let down by many, mainly agents and outside advisers. Onwards and upwards.”

Moshiri’s legacy is Bramley-Moore Dock stadium
The latter period of Moshiri’s eight-and-a-half-year tenure was incredibly difficult for all involved and it almost resulted in relegation on two occasions.
However, as the fans have quite rightly said, his legacy will be the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, which will become one of the finest infrastructures in this country when it opens.
Plus, the new stadium is set to bank Everton around £30-40m extra revenue every year, so the Friedkin’s will massively benefit from Moshiri’s project.
Bramley Moore-Dock stadium could also earn around £100m in a naming rights deal – which the new owners are working on.
So, there are reasons to be thankful for Moshiri’s reign.
