Everton fans deliver verdict on Adam Aznou’s performance vs Dundee FC

Everton kicked off their pre-season schedule against Dundee FC on Saturday afternoon.

David Moyes’ side picked up a 4-0 win against Dundee, with Beto, Thierno Barry, Harvey Foster and Dwight McNeil getting themselves on the scoresheet.

Toffees youngster Harvey Foster was especially impressive and is likely to get more opportunities in the first team this summer.

Adam Aznou also got valuable game time yesterday, and Everton have given their verdict on his performance.

Everton fans react to Adam Aznou’s display vs Dundee FC

Aznou, who joined Everton in an £8m deal from Bayern Munich last summer, barely got a sniff in his debut campaign on Merseyside.

In fact, the 20-year-old left-back is still awaiting his Premier League debut, having only made one appearance for the first-team in the FA Cup.

Moyes started him against Dundee yesterday, and fans really liked what they saw.

They heaped praise on Aznou on our Facebook page and on X.

• “Honestly I like Anzou every time he gets game time, I’m not sure why he can’t get the occasional game over Myko, especially when you expect to be on the front foot.”

The Toffees are back in action next Saturday, as they take on Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers.

The three-cap Morocco international will be hoping to get another start under his belt ahead of what could be his breakout year.

There were reports that Aznou could leave on loan this summer, with Marseille and Getafe linked, but Moyes clearly wants to have a closer look at him in pre-season before making a decision on his future.
