Arne Slot’s side were able to dispatch of Spurs in a similar way to David Moyes’ men were able to last month.
A pitiful display from the Londoners saw Ange Postecoglou’s side pick up yet another injury.
It has been the story of Richarlison’s time in north London with his game time having been severely hamstrung by continuous injury issues.
Everton have certainly come out better from their £60m deal with the Lilywhites for the Brazilian striker who looks set for another period on the sidelines.
And some fans took to social media to share their thoughts about the former fan-favourite whose time away from Merseyside is turning into a disaster.

Everton fans react to Richarlison’s injury in Liverpool vs Tottenham
After a number of years away from Goodison Park, Everton would love to re-sign Richarlison, but it is a deal which would need a lot to go right for it to happen.
And as things stand, there is very little that would suggest the forward could return and provide much more than what Dominic Calvert-Lewin does with the pair both prone to injury.
After seeing Richarlison withdrawn after just 45 minutes, Everton fans took to social media to share their concerns about their former player.
Some fans want the demand for a Richarlison return to stop, as @crawfordtartan said: ‘We need to move on and be thinking of the future. Richie was a much loved part of the past. We’ve got some funds and new stadium , find new exciting talent.’
Whilst @greenallefc added: ‘Are people going to still spend their summer pretending Richarlison isn’t broken now?’ Clearly there was a running theme as @neiljohnlarsen also said: ‘Can Everton fans now please stop begging for Richarlison to “come home” other than the fact he’s not very good, he’s now injury prone too. Don’t ever mention his name when talking about players we should sign’
Richarlison still has a lot of love for Everton and that can be seen by the appreciation he showed Goodison following Tottenham’s defeat last month.
But his injuries have to be a real concern to any club potentially keen to sign him.
However, there were some more positive messages with @gdc1878 sending their thoughts: ‘Never forget Richarlison sacrificed himself to keep us up, he’s never been the same since. We love you lad @richarlison97.’ And @evertxn also said: ‘Richarlison sacrificed his working body for Everton football club. Unbelievable hero.’
With some fans debating whether to bring Richarlison back to Merseyside, @bluesofgoodison very simply said: ‘Nostalgia say yes. Common sense say no.’
Richarlison injury update after Tottenham defeat
Everton fans have urged the Friedkins to re-sign Richarlison, but his injury record is now becoming a real concern.
The Brazilian is struggling to go a handful of games without suffering another setback.
Richarlison only returned in the middle of January from a hamstring injury, and now Ange Postecoglou has admitted the calf injury suffered on Thursday does not look good.
“It looks like his calf. It didn’t look too good after the game, so probably one to add to the list,” he said.
Perhaps it is time for some Everton fans to move on from a potential Richarlison return.
