Everton fans may have come out of the winter transfer market slightly disappointed.
In what was the Friedkins’ first transfer window, there was only one new player who was brought in at Goodison Park.
Carlos Alcaraz signed for Everton in the early hours of Tuesday morning with the Toffees needing a deal extension to get it over the line.
David Moyes will have been hoping for more, considering his side is riddled with injuries and he has been left with only one fit striker.
With the January window leaving a lot to be desired, The Friedkin Group are considering a big change behind the scenes at Finch Farm.
Speaking to Everton News, TBR Football’s Chief Transfer Correspondent Graeme Bailey has shared the latest from Merseyside.

Everton expected to replace Kevin Thelwell
There has been the expectation Everton will move on from Kevin Thelwell with his contract winding down.
The 51-year-old only has a matter of months remaining on his deal with the Toffees.
And Bailey has told Everton News that Thelwell’s future at Finch Farm is now becoming even more uncertain ahead of the summer.
“He has had to navigate through some tough times and The Friedkin Group know that,” said Bailey.
“But they are looking at other names and I am told the feeling is that there will be a change in that department.”
It has been suggested elsewhere that Brighton’s David Weir is being eyed by Everton as Thelwell’s potential replacement.
As things stand, Bailey understands the new owners on Merseyside are still weighing up their options, but they’ve already shown their ruthlessness in sacking Sean Dyche.
Everton needed more signings in January
The Toffees have been ravaged by injuries this season which has made Moyes’ task even more difficult.
Beto impressed against Leicester City in the absence of the three other senior strikers.
But that just goes to how the squad has been depleted by injuries.
The Friedkins wanted at least two January signings and Thelwell was unable to deliver that, with just Alcaraz signing.
And even with the signing of the Argentine midfielder, that went right down to the wire despite Alcaraz arriving in England on Saturday.
The January window did not cover Thelwell in glory.
