Everton only have five games left at Goodison Park before they move to their new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Toffees are preparing to wave goodbye to one of the most iconic and oldest stadiums in English football.
From the start of next season, David Moyes’ side will be playing all their home games at the new 52,000-seater.
The new stadium is set to bank Everton £40m extra in revenue every year, which will give them a much bigger budget to spend in future transfer windows.
However, some Everton fans have noticed one error with the new ground.

Everton fans criticise new stadium capacity
Everton fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to criticise the new stadium’s capacity, with many suggesting it should’ve been much higher.
“Who else feels we should have made this 65,000 to 70,000 capacity? No way we wouldn’t have sold at least 60,000 season tickets,” @N9GJR posted.
@Blue89Toffee replied: “I’ve been saying this for a few years now!!!! Massive error by the club, I just hope to god it can be expanded in the near future. Tbh that N stand looks bang avg needs to be much bigger, and I’d really like to see a third tier on both side stands we’d fill 65-70K no worries.”
“Literally just been discussing this with my brothers. Far too small. 60,000 should have been to absolute minimum,” @toffee_tower commented.
“Absolutely correct on this should have been a minimum of 60000, ideally 65000. Hopefully the Friedkin Group recognise that and expand it,” @Blue89Toffee added.
@JosephDunn8 said: “Said this last night seeing Atletico Madrid stadium.”
@_Toffee_Toffee_ said: “Missed opportunity.”
The Friedkin Group could extend Bramley-Moore Dock stadium
According to The Athletic, the Friedkin Group could increase the maximum capacity at the new stadium.
If there is demand, the American investors could look to expand the east stand, which has scope to be built on.
The current 52,888 capacity is expected to be filled every week, so there’s definitely good reason to expand, especially if the Toffees return to the past glories of challenging the top four over the next few years.
Exciting times lie ahead for Everton.
