Everton are looking ahead to brighter times financially following their recent takeover being completed.

The Friedkin Group have landed on Merseyside and are looking to take Everton back up the league following years of relegation scares.

Since completing the takeover, Sean Dyche has noticed more stability at Everton with the new owners in place.

A lot of change is happening on Merseyside, with Everton set to move into their new home over the summer as it nears completion.

But there could be a considerable financial boost to come over the next year or so with the changes in place for the Toffees.

Everton set for £40m revenue boost through new stadium

The Friedkin Group are in talks over a stadium naming rights deal ahead of the club’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock in the summer.

According to The Times, the move into the new stadium could provide Everton an extra £40m-per-season in revenue.

Supporters will be encouraged to maximise the stadium’s facilities on a matchday with Tottenham Hotspur showing how food and beverage sales can boost revenue dramatically.

This could be huge for the Toffees as Everton face PSR concerns once again ahead of the January transfer window.

The Friedkin Group could upgrade Everton’s training facilities with improvements potentially being approved for both the men’s and women’s training centres.

New Everton stadium set to hold test event

Everton have been handed control of their new stadium following safety tests being approved by the constructors.

Now it is time for the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium to undergo internal fittings before fans can begin to enter the ground.

The report from The Times claims test events will be held with a limited number of fans set to receive access to the first games to be played in the stadium.

It is expected either an Everton women’s or U21s game will be held in the new ground as some fans will be handed a sneak peek at what is to come.
