Everton picked up a historic win away at Bournemouth this evening, with Jack Grealish netting the only goal of the game.
David Moyes’ side broke a 40-year trend at the Vitality Stadium, as they hadn’t won there since 1985, quite remarkably.
Grealish looked back to his best, but it was Tim Iroegbunam who was really impressive in the middle of the park.
Carlos Alcaraz also had a brilliant game, and he laid on the assist for Grealish’s deflected goal, so perhaps the Argentine will now retain his place in the line-up.
Thierno Barry led the line again for Everton, and supporters had a lot to say about his performance after the game.

Everton fans still not convinced by Thierno Barry after Bournemouth win
Speaking ahead of the Bournemouth game, Moyes said he’s sticking with Barry to allow him a proper run of games.
That was Barry’s fifth consecutive start tonight, and he finally got that awful shot on target statistic off his back.
However, Everton fans were still very critical of his performance and many just simply aren’t convinced by the £30m signing.
“He is terrible. The Barry project has to be stopped now. Beto for Saturday,” @IrishRaven posted.
@ToffeeLerk added: “I’ve seen enough minutes now of Barry to state he’s not anywhere near what we need.”
“Forget his lack of goals, I can’t stand that f—— sulking from Barry,” @mickyj1878 admitted.
@Viewbysamson said: “If I’m Beto, I’m going to Moyes and asking him if Barry is really an upgrade to me.”
@IntoTheseEFC reckons: “Whoever we sign in January will score before Barry.”
@PaulSaul2001 sees it differently: “You can see Thierno Barry has bags of ability from the way he brought the ball down in that game. He’s a young lad with broken confidence and be it at this club or another he will show form is temporary but class is permanent.”
Thierno Barry just needs that first goal
Like most strikers, Barry is clearly a confidence player and perhaps when he gets that first goal for Everton, everything will click into gear.
There’s clearly a player in there. You don’t score double figures in La Liga and play for France under-21s if you’re a bad striker.
But, time is running out as it won’t be long before Moyes drops Barry back to the bench with Beto coming back in.
The Toffees are already looking at options like Joshua Zirkzee and Troy Parrott ahead of the January transfer window.
It’ll be interesting to see if Barry is named in the line-up for Nottingham Forest on the weekend or whether Moyes has lost patience.
