Everton will be on the lookout for a new manager next summer as the Friedkin Group plan to head into the new stadium with a fresh face in charge.

Sean Dyche kept Everton up last season, but the prospective new owners, the Friedkin Group, are setting higher standards and want a new man in charge at the new stadium.

The Friedkin Group are set to conduct a review on the Everton boss when they complete the takeover, which could bring about a change sooner than anticipated.

Avoiding relegation is the main priority for the Toffees ahead of the new stadium, especially as the revenue could be up around £75m per season.

Interestingly, it appears as if Everton fans think one man is lining up a potential job on Merseyside in the future after comments that were made recently.

Thomas Frank makes a comment on Goodison Park

Thomas Frank is preparing his Brentford side to face Everton this weekend at Goodison Park.

Brentford are currently six points ahead of the Toffees after 11 games, which is largely down to the brilliance of Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo in the final third.

Ethan Pinnock, Wissa and Mbeumo are all fit to face Everton.

Interestingly, when speaking ahead of the Everton clash, Thomas Frank gave his verdict on Goodison Park in what will likely be his last time attending a game there.

““It’s an iconic ground, so much history has happened in that ground. “For me as a foreign manager coming into the Premier League and to England, it’s one of the grounds I most enjoy playing at.”
