Everton team news
Jarrad Branthwaite will be assessed despite returning to training this week.
Branthwaite was forced to pull out of the England squad due to an injury but has been with the squad but is likely to be in contention to play.
Dwight McNeil and Seamus Coleman are both doubts after picking up knocks before the international break, however, it looks as if McNeil will be fit enough to be included in the squad.
Armanda Broja is still not ready to play against Brentford, but in more positive news, looks like he could finally make his debut in the next couple of weeks.
James Garner, Tim Iroegbunam and Youssef Chermiti are all unavailable.
Everton predicted XI to face Brentford
Jordan Pickford equalled a World Cup winner’s record for England against Ireland during the international break and will return to start in goal on Saturday.
Nathan Patterson is yet to make an appearance after recovering from a long-term injury but is unlikely to dislodge Ashley Young in the right-back slot.
James Tarkowski should be partnered alongside Branthwaite, meaning Michael Keane must settle for a place on the bench, whilst Vitaliy Mykolenko will start at left-back.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye will play the more defensive-minded role with Jack Harrison on the right-hand side of the attacking trio and Iliman Ndiaye on the left.

Dwight McNeil has been one of Everton’s best players this season and despite concerns over his availability, should be risked.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has struggled for form this season, leading to some fans calling for Beto to start. However, Calvert-Lewin still has a lot to offer in terms of build-up play and is a strong focal point in the side. He should be given one last chance before being dropped.
