Better times are being promised at Goodison Park with the prospect of new ownership at Everton growing.
It has now been over a year-and-a-half of waiting for Farhad Moshiri to pass on the keys to Everton but the signs are now looking promising.
The Friedkin Group are expected to be in at Everton in December with the takeover having just received FA approval.
With one major hurdle overcome, there is now a belief that Everton are closer than ever in seeing new owners at the club.
Sean Dyche’s side have provided the fans with very little to get excited about so far this season as they sit slumped in 16th spot.

However, it has been noticed how Everton fans have reacted to something which The Friedkin Group have said publicly about the takeover.

Everton fans warned of clever Friedkin Group move
Speaking on the Athletic FC podcast, journalist James Horncastle has suggested Everton fans may have already been tricked by The Friedkin Group.
In speaking publicly on their push to secure approval for their Everton takeover, The Friedkin Group have went against their normal procedure potentially to get the fans on side.
“I mean, one of the things I find interesting is, is when they put out a statement that they were looking to get regulatory approval from the Premier League for this takeover. I saw some of the reaction by Everton fans over social media, and there was a gratitude almost that ‘we’re hearing from an ownership group’,” said Horncastle.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if you know, but for a statement that says, you know we we have got that approval that we needed. You never hear from the Friedkin’s again. Because they are Sphinx, like they you can see them, but you don’t hear from them.
“And that was actually quite clever when they took over at Roma, because the previous owner, James Pallotta, was very passionate, very outspoken, and would call out things he didn’t like.”
“So I wouldn’t be surprised if, you know, we don’t hear from them again.”
Everton could see change over January transfer window
The Friedkin Group already have Everton transfer plans for the January transfer window with the Toffees struggling in the league.
And Everton could well be in desperate need of some upgrades come the window with a devastating set of fixtures to come in December.
One player who could already be headed for the doors is Beto after Everton offered him to Torino ahead of the winter market.
However, Everton’s recent close shaves with PSR could well have Everton walking a tightrope yet again when it comes to incomings.
