Everton’s focus will now be turning to the summer transfer window with their Premier League campaign all but done.
No matter what happens on Sunday, Everton will finish the 2024/25 season in 13th spot in what has been a big turnaround since January.
David Moyes has done what the Friedkins asked him to do when they appointed him and the club can now look ahead to another year in the Premier League.
Everton are being handed a healthy transfer budget this summer as the Friedkins will finally get the freedom to spend money.
A lot of additions are going to be needed considering there are players who are set to head for the door at the end of their deals.
Top of the list will be adding goals to the club as Everton are prioritising a new striker signing following a turbulent year in front of goal.

Liam Delap granted permission to speak to Everton
One of the strikers Everton would like to sign is Liam Delap as the Ipswich Town striker is set for a summer move.
The young forward has massively impressed in his first season of Premier League football, and he has caught the attention of clubs across the league.
Speaking in his Friday press conference, Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna admitted Delap has been granted permission to speak with interested clubs.
Yes, he’s looking at his options for next year. We support him with that,” said McKenna.
Fabrizio Romano added that Delap has already met with Chelsea and Manchester United, and is set to meet with more over the coming days.

Everton have some huge clubs to beat to his signature, but there will be hope the promise of regular football could sway him.
Everton would add a lot of quality with Delap
