Everton fans will have been disappointed to see their side capitulate against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Not for the first time under David Moyes, the Toffees conceded their two-goal lead to come away with just a point.
Premier League survival may be secured for Everton, but this is not how the Blues will want to bid farewell to Goodison Park.
For a side that have struggled to find the back of the net Everton started the game with a lot of intensity.
Beto was praised by Owen Hargreaves for his goal as he ended his drought spanning from February.
However, it was the Ipswich Town striker, Liam Delap, coming under focus for some of the Everton fans at Goodison.

Everton fans saying the same thing about Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap
Heading into the summer window, Everton are showing interest in Delap who looks destined for a Premier League switch in the market.
The 22-year-old striker did not take long to get involved in the action as he got physical with the Everton defenders.
And a lot of Everton fans took to social media to share their very honest thoughts on the Englishman amid the transfer speculation.
As the youngster battled away, an Everton fan said: ‘Delap so unlikeable which is why we have to sign him in the summer hahahaha’. Another fan replied to this comment, saying: ‘Absolutely – has that Tim Cahill, everyone else hates him but he’ll be loved type of way.’
It was a common trend, with one Toffee adding: ‘Everton Twitter trying to not get too riled up about Delap since everyone wants to buy him in a month.’ And another claimed: ‘We have got to sign Liam Delap. He’s horrible and I’m here for it.’
Delap was unable to get on the scoresheet, but he clearly impressed the Goodison crowd ahead of the summer window.
One fan is urging the Friedkins to sign Delap, he said: ‘Didn’t know Delap had a snide side ….. Want to sign him even more now.’ Another fan was thinking even further ahead, they added: ‘Delap just going after O’Brien and Branthwaite here. Give the kid credit. Should make for some fun training sessions next year! If only. If only.’
Liam Delap wanted to show his physicality vs Everton
The striker was seen battling Everton’s centre-back pairing and not for the first time this season.
Troy Deeney said James Tarkowski bullied Delap earlier in the season as the Ipswich striker tried to show his physicality.
- 68 minutes played
- 1 yellow card
- 1 shot target
- 3/4 accurate passes
- 2x was fouled
- 2 fouls conceded
It would be fair to say he did not provide much threat on Jordan Pickford’s goal in his time on the pitch.
But Everton fans liked what they saw with the player’s aggression clearly something they feel could add a lot to their side.
