Having claimed an important victory on Saturday, this week marks a hugely important one for Everton that could see them climb to a position of safety whilst sorting out their home form.
Hosting Newcastle United on Thursday in a clash that has evolved into something of a grudge match in recent years, before Chelsea then make the trip to Goodison Park on Saturday, it is expected that the home fans will be in full voice to spur their side on against two good sides.
However, the only hope is that the players can overcome their struggles on home soil, having thrived when playing on the road.
This season has seen Sean Dyche’s men claim four away victories, whilst winning just once at home in the Premier League.

Fortunately, in their efforts to add to the latter, they have seemingly been handed a huge injury boost that could leave the Magpies worried.
After all, the club have now released training pictures from the entire squad in Finch Farm, of which Dominic Calvert-Lewin is pictured throughout. Having trained alone in the run-up to their last game, which he missed, this is surely a positive.
How good is Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
Not only are Everton just a better side when the 26-year-old features, but Calvert-Lewin actually has a knack for scoring against the Tyneside outfit too.
After all, the £100k-per-week marksman boasts five goals against them, with only West Ham United the opponent he enjoys facing more.
However, it is far more than just goals that he threatens to offer, although the two campaigns in which he scored 13 and 16 in the league before his injuries do add to this importance.
Standing at 6 foot 2, the physical foundation his mere presence brings is revolutionary. And yet, he blends that with an immeasurable link-up play that sets him apart from Beto, who struggled in just his fourth league start last weekend.

Calvert-Lewin is far more proficient in the air and has a strange ability to make the most unlikely of balls stick. Journalist Chris Beesley had even branded him ‘outstanding‘ under Carlo Ancelotti, as the former Sheffield United man was developing into a forward boasting all of these assets.
Given they are unlikely to see much of the ball, and will have to counter with precision against a well-oiled outfit, his fitness will mark a huge boost ahead of what promises to be an enthralling encounter between two sides whose animosity only grows.
