Everton are looking to strengthen all over the pitch this summer transfer window.
Everton are on the verge of completing their second signing of the summer, as Kenny Tete is set to join David Moyes’ side.
Tete has snubbed a new deal at Fulham to pen what’s expected to be a three-year contract on Merseyside.
Attention has already turned to other positions, with Lille left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson on Moyes’ radar.
Fred has been heavily linked to Everton over the past few days, and now there is a fresh update on another rumoured target.

Everton have ‘revived’ their interest in Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi
Everton were linked to Wilfred Ndidi earlier this month after it became apparent he had a £9m relegation release clause in his Leicester City contract.
Now, talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook is reporting that the Toffees have ‘revived’ their interest along with Manchester United.
Ndidi is viewed as a real market opportunity considering how low his clause has been set and it appears Moyes views him as a ready-made replacement for Orel Mangala and Abdoulaye Doucoure, who will officially depart at the end of this month.
Saudi Pro League side are also keeping tabs on the Nigeria international, so it may take a pretty sizable contract offer to bring him to Merseyside.
Ndidi was once considered ‘world class’
During Ndidi’s pomp at Leicester, which was between 2017-2021, he was actually lauded as a ‘world class’ defensive midfielder.
In recent years, there has been a drop-off, however, there’s still no doubting his ability to break up play and be a destroyer.
The 28-year-old ranks in the top five per cent for tackles per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe, as per FBref.
He also sits in the top four per cent for aerial duels won, so there’s a lot to like about this potential signing.
Ndidi’s profile is almost a necessity for a Premier League midfield.
