Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock move-in date gets enticingly nearer with each week, as updates continue to pour in from all over.
People are clamouring to devour as much content regarding the new stadium as possible, with aerial videos shot by drones and photographs taken from inside the grounds of particular interest.
However, with the positivity and excitement such an event brings, there is inevitably also worry over ensuring every Evertonian can make the transition with ease whilst maintaining their enjoyment.

One of the big concerns has been regarding seating, and how they might translate Goodison Park season ticket holders into the new ground.
However, that qualm seems set to be solved, with Everton’s Fan Forum taking to Twitter to issue the following update: ‘The club are keen to give season ticket holders the choice on where they personally want to sit or stand.’
What will happen to Goodison Park when Everton leave?
The plans are in place for the Bramley-Moore Dock arena to be completed sometime in 2024, with the club still undecided on whether their move will be mid-season or following the 2024/25 campaign.
However, there was much interest in what the club intended to do with Goodison Park after their exit, given it made such a sad departure far more acceptable.
Thus, the Goodison Park Legacy Project was born, set to ‘transform the 3.39 hectare site into a mixed use mixed-use development, including housing, commercial space, community/retail uses and open space.’
And yet, for all the good that the affordable housing, multi-purpose health centre, retail areas and green spaces would do, it will be tough for fans to see large parts of the infamous stadium bulldozed to make way for a brighter future in L4.
It has housed Everton for 131 years, as the very first arena purpose-built for football in the country.

Few can match the legacy that Goodison Park will leave behind, but in doing so fans will be hopeful that a brighter future can instead be forged.
