Everton fans want to see some exciting transfer deals this summer – and one target could be the 2026 equivalent of the club’s past move for Gerard Deulofeu.
The Toffees need new additions for several positions in the next window.
How would you feel about Hayden Hackney becoming Everton’s first signing? 🤩
The defence in particular needs work, with both full-back positions needing new signings, and there is also scope for a new centre-back.
And clearly at the moment, Everton are looking to bolster their midfield, with Hayden Hackney on the club’s radar.
But a new winger is almost certain to come in, with uncertainty over the likes of Jack Grealish, Tyrique George and Dwight McNeil.
And one target for Everton is Roony Bardjghi, who could well be the club’s new Gerard Deulofeu.
Everton could land new Gerard Deulofeu in Roony Bardghji

It’s been reported that Everton have been keeping tabs on Barcelona youngster Roony Bardghji.
The Swedish youngster could possibly leave Camp Nou this summer, with Barca set to listen to permanent offers.
He would prefer to leave on loan, but Barca are said to want to create space in their squad ahead of a major summer rebuild.
Everton, of course, have previously signed a young winger talent from Barcelona.
In 2013, the Toffees completed a loan swoop for Gerard Deulofeu. After he then had a loan with Sevilla, Everton then signed him permanently ahead of the 2015/16 season.
Including the initial loan, Deulofeu spent three seasons at Goodison Park, and lit the place up at times with his dribbling and technical ability.
In total, he scored eight goals and made 17 assists in 75 appearances for the club.
Quite possibly, Deulofeu having played at Everton may encourage Bardghji to tread the same path.
During his time at the club, Deulofeu was well liked by fans for his ability and skill, with many seeing him as a mercurial talent capable of doing special things. He also had a great on-field relationship with Romelu Lukaku.
If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰
He probably didn’t score enough goals and struggled to play full games, but he certainly found a home at Everton and of course, managed to earn himself an iconic chant.
There is a lot of competition for Bardghji this summer.
But maybe, just maybe, the spell that Deulofeu had will work in the club’s favour if they go and pitch themselves to Bardghji
