Everton have been looking at several players in the Championship.

David Moyes has always been keen to recruit from the second tier, as he feels it’s home to a number of future Premier League stars

That said, Everton are eyeing a move to sign  Zan Vipotnik from Swansea City, and Stoke’s Sorba Thomas has also been linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Another exciting wide player is believed to be on Moyes’ radar, too, and he scored a brace on the final day of the season on Saturday.

Everton target Femi Azeez scores brace for Millwall

Everton have been scouting Femi Azeez this season after heavily impressing for promotion-hopefuls Millwall.

Azeez scored a brace on the final day of the season against Oxford United, taking his goal tally to 11 ahead of the play-offs.

The 24-year-old right-winger also ended the campaign as the Championship’s highest-rated player, according to WhoScored.

Surely that would’ve put Toffees scouts on red alert ahead of the window opening, as they look to recruit another wide player.

It has been reported that Azeez will be playing in the Premier League regardless of whether Millwall gain promotion.

Of course, if they do go up via the play-offs, Everton’s chances of signing the former non-league star will lessen.

So, the Merseysiders will certainly be watching the two-legged tie against Hull City with great interest next week.
