Everton is looking to bring in Paraguayan international Ramon Sosa in January according to reports and now his price tag is explained.
The transfer window is almost at its halfway point and Everton are yet to do anything. A busy January was never expected due to financial concerns, but there is some speculation around a series of names.
One of these names is Ramon Sosa who Everton is said to be interested in. ESPN journalist Roberto Rojas has tweeted that Fulham are also keen on the Paraguayan with a deal expected to be difficult to do this month.
With an asking price of $15m (£11.8m) believed to be enough to get the deal done. This is despite the new belief at Everton which would see Arnaut Danjuma remain at the club.
The Dutchman was tipped as a potential exit, but Sean Dyche has now explained this isn’t the case which leaves Everton with a strong wingers contingent – alongside Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison.

What Sean Dyche said about Arnaut Danjuma
Speaking in his pre-game presser, Dyche rubbished reports of the Toffees losing Danjuma.
“The situation is very simple, he’s an Everton player. That’s it. You know, he’s still here, he played the last game, he’s got a fair chance to play in the next one.”
He went on to adamantly declare that Danjuma is and has always been in his plans and that he will remain at Goodison Park.
Ramon Sosa’s agent has previously spoken about Everton
It’s been reported by TeamTalk over the last week that Everton is chasing the winger, this was according to quotes from his agent Daniel Campos.
Campos said: “I spoke with the sporting director of Everton [Kevin Thelwell]. There is no formal offer yet. We will see if we can move forward,” Campos said in a recent interview.
“More or less, Talleres wants around $15m (approx. £11.8m). It is a question of work and patience.
“He is a player who is in clear sporting development, in his best moment. There is no rush on either side. It is inevitable that the player will be sold, now or in six months.”
Given this combined with the recent report from the ESPN journalist, it would appear that this is a deal Everton definitely wants to look into completing.
He’d offer some real competition for Everton against the current crop of wingers as despite some solid performances of late, and the fact that Danjuma remains, Everton needs more.
