Sean Dyche has spoken about the situation surrounding Arnaut Danjuma right now in which he’s admitted that a departure is unlikely.
Arnaut Danjuma‘s transfer links to Lyon have really accelerated in recent days with the French side reported to be ‘seduced’ by the idea of signing him.
Speculation then exploded as eagle-eyed Everton fans began to question why Danjuma was pictured on a private jet.
However, speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Sean Dyche addressed the plane photo and gave a defiant answer on Danjuma’s future.

Sean Dyche discusses Arnaut Danjuma’s Everton future
Dyche was speaking to the media on Friday and the first question as expected was on Danjuma. To which Dyche was pretty emphatic as he answered.
“The situation is very simple, he’s an Everton player. That’s it. You know, he’s still here, he played the last game, he’s got a fair chance to play in the next one.
“Certainly has never been outside of our plans so he remains an Everton player. There isn’t really a story, I keep getting things like quotes [that] I’ve said like, you know, ‘he’s not part of his plans’. I don’t know where they come from, no one asked me for them, so since you asked me, he’s an Everton player and he’ll be part of what we do.”
After this, Dyche was then asked about the aeroplane photo to which he had a hilarious answer.
“I had a word with him on I said ‘It seems excessive to go from Manchester Airport to Liverpool airport for training’, but you know, the modern players, personally I’d use a car but that’s the modern players you know, they need to look after themselves and get their rest.
“He’s said nothing other than he wants to work hard and play. We need everyone you know, we’ve been stretched in many ways with kind of getting bodies back now.”
If Dyche is being for real here then that seems to be that regarding Danjuma’s exit.
Dyche offers some extra team news
Finally Dyche added some insight into the players who are nearing a return at Everton.
“Youngy [Ashley Young] is out in the grass now as well, so it’s another body that shouldn’t be too far away.
“Seamus [Coleman] is back involved now. So we want everyone as fit as possible obviously.”
