Everton are yet to make a signing this month but they’re active in the transfer window.
David Moyes wants two signings through the door before the window slams shut on February 3rd and it’s thought Everton are looking at Sunderland’s Dan Neil.
That deal seems unlikely at this stage, though, with the Championship promotion hopefuls desperate to retain his services.
A wide player is also understood to be on the transfer shortlist, but Everton have had little success in their pursuit of Yunus Akgun and Baris Alper Yilmaz. The Galatasaray duo are deemed unavailable.
Following Armando Broja’s injury, it was suggested that Everton could dip into the market for another striker.
So, with that said, we’ve decided to get the latest from transfer specialist Graeme Bailey about Rangers frontman Hamza Igamane, who was on their shortlist not so long ago.

Everton still monitoring Hamza Igamane
Speaking exclusively to Everton News, Bailey revealed that Everton are still showing an interest in Igamane.
“Igamane is a player of real interest to a number of Premier League clubs as the window closes. Everton still like him, they have done a work on him,” Bailey explained.
“It remains to be seen if they make a push, Tottenham have joined the hunt for him but a host of clubs are now looking – he is one to really keep an eye on the final week or so of the window.
“Everton losing McNeil to injury points towards more of a wide player – but David Moyes and Everton are trying, they would like a couple in before the end of the window, although most likely loans at this point, but don’t rule anything out.”
Igamane stats this season
Rangers signed Igamane last summer as a relative unknown, paying just £1.5m for his signature from Moroccan outfit FAR Rabat.
His arrival was initially met with scepticism, with some suggestions he was very raw, but it hasn’t taken long for him to adapt to British football.
The 22-year-old has netted 13 times in 27 outings, including a well-taken goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League.
It’s understood Everton have scouted Igamane this season, so they certainly would’ve seen his super display against Ange Postecoglou’s men.
