Everton’s January transfer window is in need of a serious boost and that could come in the form of the next Phil Foden.
David Moyes has seen his options stretched to the limit over the last month after his squad has been left decimated.
The January window has proven a difficult market to operate in for most clubs across the Premier League, but Everton desperately need some fresh faces adding.
Elsewhere, The Friedkin Group are splashing the cash at Roma, but Everton remain in search of their first piece of business.
As the Blues have now exited both domestic cup competitions, full focus has to be placed on a European finish for Everton.
It may be a big ask, but Everton are going to have to bring in some quality players this month if they are to achieve that goal.

Everton considering move for Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri
It has been suggested that Everton are keen to sign Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal, with his future in north London looking uncertain.
The attacking midfielder broke onto the scene at the Emirates over recent years, but he now finds himself struggling for regular minutes.
Speaking to the media back in late 2024, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus named some of the players he believes Nwaneri could eventually become as good as.
Everton fans, would you back a move for Ethan Nwaneri this month? 🤔
It's been claimed we've taken a look at the Arsenal youngster…
“I have been with some very special youngsters, like Phil [Foden] and Cole [Palmer] – and also James McAtee at City, he is also very good,” said the Brazilian.
“So to see Ethan in training and in the game is good, because I am a fan of football… when I see someone young with this quality, I am happy and then obviously I want him to grow, grow, grow.”
Everton are also keen to sign Ben White from the Premier League leaders, which could really kickstart Everton’s January spending.
Under the Friedkins, Everton no longer fear PSR, but a similar start to the summer market remains on display as the wait for a signing goes on at Everton.
Ethan Nwaneri’s impressive record at Arsenal
Despite only being 18 years old, Nwaneri has already been exposed to a lot of first-team football under Mikel Arteta.
It will even surprise some to see speculation surrounding his future in north London given how highly-rated the youngster is.
Who would Ethan Nwaneri start ahead of in a fully fit Everton XI? 🤔
At the age of 18, Nwaneri has already returned a staggering 10 goals and two assists for the Arsenal first team.
The question would be where would he fit into this Everton side currently?
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is recovering from his hamstring issue, which has seen him out for around a month already.
When the 27-year-old does return, there will be an expectation for him to slot straight back into the starting XI.
It will be a good headache for Moyes to have, but Nwaneri would face serious competition for places on Merseyside.
