Everton picked up yet another win on the road yesterday, as they beat Newcastle United 3-2 at St James’ Park.
David Moyes’ side recorded their seventh away win of the season on Tyneside, lifting them on to 40 points.
Everton are well in the mix for European football, with just three points separating them from a Conference League spot.

If the Premier League table was based purely on away form, the Toffees would actually be in a title race along with Manchester City and Arsenal.

Jarrad Branthwaite, speaking after the Newcastle win, reiterated that Europe is the goal: “At the start of the season that was the main objective. To push for Europe.
“The lads have done a brilliant job during the season. We have just got to get as many points as we can and see where that takes us.”
