Everton want to sign Jack Grealish on loan again

Moyes was spotted at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on Saturday as he watched Pep Guardiola’s side dismantle Liverpool in the FA Cup.

It is unknown whether Grealish was mentioned on his trip to the Etihad, but journalist Patrick Boyland understands the preference is another loan.

“Nobody is going to come in and pay that [£50m] not Everton, not anybody else. Maybe there is a cut-price deal to do, or maybe there is another loan to do,” he said on The Blue Room podcast.

“As it stands, we are hearing that the preference right now is for another loan on Everton’s side. However, whether City think the same and whether City’s circumstances dictate that they are able to accept that is another matter.”

Reports elsewhere have claimed that Grealish holds considerable clauses in his Man City contract that would need to be overcome.

Next season will mark the final year of Grealish’s deal at the Etihad Stadium.

Everton supporters do not want to pay big money for Grealish, given the circumstances surrounding a potential deal.

At the age of 30 – soon to be 31 – Grealish will head into the new season on the back of a big injury layoff, which could make another loan the smartest decision for the Toffees.
