Everton secured back-to-back wins by beating Manchester United 1-0 on Monday night.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall stole the show with a superb right-footed strike into the top corner, earning plaudits from Wayne Rooney.

Jordan Pickford also produced a terrific performance, and Dimitar Berbatov named him the Man of the Match.

Man United supporters had a lot to say about Pickford on social media after the game, and they all said similar things.

Everton’s Jordan Pickford leaves Man United fans blown away

Man United fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to heap praise on the Toffees shot-stopper Pickford.

“As a Man United fan I have to say Jordan Pickford won the game for Everton, unbelievable goalkeeper,” @ducker7 posted.

@bezilz added: “Bloody pickford, you better perform this way when you play in the World Cup!”

@Londonbaby786 said: “Pickford had to be the man of the match, what a keeper.”

“Pickford turned to prime Manuel Neuer. I’m not surprised. Finished club,” @Paschal_MUFC commented.

@mrbellyelliot noted: “Not that we’ve had many chances, but Pickford has been solid in goal for Everton!”

“Pickford has proven again why he is undoubtedly England’s number 1,” @adtallis1 noted.

Thomas Tuchel was in the stands watching Jordan Pickford

England manager Thomas Tuchel was taking a watching brief of Pickford and the other Englishmen on the pitch last night.

The Three Lions boss certainly would’ve been impressed by his number one keeper, who will likely be the first name on the team sheet at the World Cup next year.

Tuchel was spotted talking to James Garner and Jack Grealish in the tunnel after the game, so perhaps they could both join Pickford in the March camp.

Moyes thinks Garner should be considered for a call-up, having enjoyed a sensational start to the season playing in a number of different roles.

Grealish is also in serious contention, although, he will have to up his numbers to get ahead of the current wide options.
