Everton are now looking ahead to a bright future under the Friedkins and David Moyes.

Following the significant change in January, Sean Dyche still finds himself searching for his next job.

Having seen Moyes return to Merseyside as his successor, Everton have not looked back with the Toffees ending the 2024/25 campaign on a high.

Even Dyche admitted his Everton sacking was the correct decision just weeks into the Friedkins’ ownership.

The Toffees have an exciting future ahead of them after Moyes was able to keep the club afloat in the Premier League.

But the wait for Dyche’s next club still goes on months later, with some fans of one Premier League club responding to claims he could be set to be appointed as their new manager.

Fans are tipping former Everton boss Sean Dyche to join Burnley

It is expected that Dyche will secure a Championship role before the start of the new season with a number of clubs looking for a new manager.

However, a return to the Premier League has been mooted in recent hours with Brentford set to lose Thomas Frank to Tottenham Hotspur and Scott Parker being eyed as his successor.

Fans have taken to social media to share their immediate thoughts and it is clear they are all thinking the same thing linking Dyche with a return to Turf Moor.

One fan immediately reacted, saying: ‘Parker to Brentford and maybe dyche back to Burnley.’ Whilst another added: ‘Dyche to Burnley you mean?’

Clearly, some feel Dyche could even be an upgrade on Parker, with one fan saying: ‘I think if Burnley get Dyche back they’ll have a very good chance of staying up’. Another fan was desperate to see Dyche return to Lancashire: ‘Need this to happen so that Burnley can restore culture and bring back Sean Dyche.’

In a recent interview, Dyche admitted he’d love to manage Manchester United and even feels he’d do a better job than Ruben Amorim.

A similar sentiment was shared by others feeling Dyche would be a better option for Burnley, one fan claimed: ‘If Brentford get Parker I wouldn’t put it past Burnley going back in for Dyche and that means they’ve more a chance staying up than they do if they’d kept Parker. Just a hunch.’ Whilst another fan took to social media to say: ‘Lowkey would be an utter blessing in disguise if he went to Brentford. You’d stay up with Dyche’

What Sean Dyche has said about returning to management

Everton have scrapped a lot of Dyche’s rules that he implemented on the squad during his time at the club.

It was apparent not everything the 53-year-old manager did went down well with the squad at Finch Farm.

But the former Everton boss has admitted he’s already received a number of proposals following his exit from the Toffees.

“Not at the moment. The timing is wrong anyway. Not my timing, but clubs are going to have this time to see what they’re doing and all that sort of stuff,” he said earlier this year on the Stick to Football podcast.

“I got offered a couple of things straight away and I just said: ‘No, that’s not for me now.’ Then I wait and see what comes. You never say never.

“It’s like with the Everton thing. I was going on alright, living my life, enjoying having a break from it, doing a few media bits and quite enjoying charity bits and things that I do. Then the Everton one comes up and you feel that bug.”
