Everton are actively looking to sign a winger this summer transfer window.

David Moyes and his recruitment chiefs have been keeping a close eye on the Championship this season.

Everton had a look at Stoke City’s Sorba Thomas, but so far, there’s been no advancements on that deal.

Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔

Millwall’s Femi Azeez has also been scouted by the Toffees after registering a whopping 19 goal involvements.

Now, the Everton target has just come out and given Moyes great encouragement over a potential transfer.

Everton target Femi Azeez hints he wants Premier League move

Speaking to Sky Sports, Azeez has admitted he will ‘do whatever it takes’ to play in the Premier League amid links to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

“Whenever I achieve something, I’m always hungry for more,” the 24-year-old stated.

“I’m never satisfied with what I’ve got. I’m always going to work towards that next level.

“I’m ambitious as a footballer, and as a person, and I want to reach as high a level as possible. The Premier League is the pinnacle of football.

If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰

“Obviously, I’d love to play in the Premier League, so I’ll keep working hard and do whatever it takes to get there.”

Evidently, personal terms wouldn’t be an issue for Azeez, so the main obstacle would be agreeing a fee with Millwall.

Ipswich Town had multiple bids rejected for the Nigeria international in January, so clearly the Championship outfit are in a strong financial position.

It’d take in excess of £20m to land his signature, probably even closer to £30m given the current market.

So, it would require the Friedkin Group to shell out a pretty sizable sum of cash.
