Everton are being forced to wait for everything at the moment, from their proposed takeover to this ongoing appeal process.
It has been an arduous past few months for the Toffees, who deserve far more respect than what they are currently being given by the Premier League.
However, regarding the former of those two issues, it could actually be argued that it is not really their fault.
After all, if 777 Partners had provided them with the necessary information, then the process would have been far more streamlined and likely done a long time ago.

What is sparking frustration is the speed with which Sir Jim Ratcliffe has cemented his involvement with Manchester United, questioning why Everton’s similar situation is dragging on.
Kieran Maguire has sought to shed some light on the matter.
What Kieran Maguire said about 777 Partners
Given it has previously been noted that the Premier League were waiting for the necessary documents to prove their financial security, they cannot really be blamed for 777 Partners not providing it.
Especially given it is a takeover largely criticised, with the questionable background of the Miami-based firm coming under more and more scrutiny with each passing week.
Well, seeking to compare the situation to Manchester United’s, Maguire has offered his verdict on The Price of Football podcast.
He claimed: ‘Everton fans will be going ‘Hold on. He came in this quite late and he seems to have been approved quite quickly. Why is that when we’re still hanging around waiting for 777?’ Well, I think it has something to do with the fact that he was able to show the Premier League that he had about $4.4bn just sitting in the bank account not doing very much. That’s quite persuasive in terms of the key issues.
‘Clearly he doesn’t have any outstanding convictions, does he have the resources? Yes. Whereas 777 are at the other end of the spectrum when it comes to being able to demonstrate those particular facets.’
Another waiting game for Everton
As aforementioned, this marks one of the two frustrating waits being enforced upon Everton fans of late.
The first, being this takeover, has been ongoing since a deal was struck back in September with Farhad Moshiri.
And even with that finally set to come to a conclusion, it is a wonder when the Premier League might reach another, arguably far more important verdict.

The appeal process could seal the fate of the entire relegation battle, with a positive outcome potentially set to have huge repercussions on the entire division.
Not only will the precedent set be ground-breaking, but the likes of Luton Town, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace will also be keen to understand just how hard they will have to battle for their own survival.
