Football Manager 26 has been released, and the database has some very interesting stats about Everton players.

The video game selects its statistics through a global scouting network, and it actually analyses data from real football matches.

Clearly, it’s a very thorough process, which makes many of the statistics pretty accurate. As such, some professional scouts do use the data.

With that said, we’ve taken a look at the Everton players who top these three statistics: strength, pace and finishing ability.

The latter one may come as quite a surprise.

Who is Everton’s strongest player on Football Manager?

According to Football Manager, Beto is the strongest outfield player at Everton, and quite surprisingly, goalkeeper Tom King is tied with him.

They both share a rating of 16 out of 20, which is a pretty high score on the game and evinces that they are excelling in physical tests.

Here are the top 10 strongest players at the club

Who is Everton’s fastest player?

Thierno Barry and Beto take the top spot as the fastest players in David Moyes’ squad, whilst defender Jake O’Brien only just trails them.

Merlin Rohl has also been given a high pace rating, which reflects the fact that coaches around Finch Farm have been really impressed by his numbers in training.

Who is Everton’s best finisher?

Iliman Ndiaye is deemed the best finisher in the club. Normally, you’d expect it to be a striker, so that’s pretty damning on Barry and Beto.

Beto actually ranks below midfield players, which doesn’t make for a good reading at all and shows why Moyes is in the market for a striker this January transfer window.
