Everton might have already agreed on their first signing of what is set to be an exciting summer.
The Friedkin Group are ready to spend well this window, and David Moyes seems all for it.
With a strong end to the season under Moyes, Everton have banked £140m from finishing 13th in the Premier League.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 12 | 37 | 13 | 13 | 11 | 50 | 50 | 0 | 52 | |
| 13 | 37 | 10 | 15 | 12 | 41 | 44 | -3 | 45 | |
| 14 | 37 | 12 | 5 | 20 | 53 | 68 | -15 | 41 |
This can help the Toffees strengthen well this summer as targets are already being mooted with a move to a new era at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Well, sources elsewhere are stating that Everton and Moyes have got their first new player on board for the next campaign.

Media outlet say Everton have agreed deal with Davinson Sanchez
An area in which the Scotsman desperately wants to invest is defensively, with Moyes wanting a defender to help with sloppy goals being conceded this season.
The owners have been very supportive of Moyes since he returned, and the idea to bring him back will be inspired to use with signings.
Now, they are seemingly looking to bring back a former Premier League player who showed strong signs in the top flight.
Previously, Everton have kept close tabs on Davinson Sanchez, as the former Tottenham defender looks out of sorts over in Turkey with Galatasaray.
This has been followed up by Turkish outlet, Transfer Merkezi, who claim that Everton have already reached a ‘major agreement’ for Sanchez.

Sanchez is exactly what Moyes and Everton need
Obviously, the 28-year-old is well-known around the top flight after his seven-season stay with Tottenham.
After being sold to Galatasaray in 2023 for £8m, Sanchez has remained a mainstay in the squad, and has shown his brilliance in the squad this campaign.
| Davinson Sanchez statistics for Galatasaray this season | |
| Games played | 29 |
| Goals | 3 |
| Tackles won % | 71.9% |
| Aerial duels won % | 66.9% |
| Interceptions | 43 |
But before the season had even begun, Sean Dyche also wanted Sanchez, proving that he’s been a target for the club for a long time.
If Moyes has managed this coup, it will be excellent for the club, as not only does he have experience in England, but what Everton are lacking in defence is pace, and Sanchez has that in abundance.
Sanchez has been called ‘rapid’, which gives insight into what kind of defender they are getting, and considering he was sold for £8m, Everton could get a bargain through this deal.
