Maguire is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season, so the Toffees are looking at landing the centre-back on a free transfer.

Chelsea, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Napoli and the Friedkin Group-owned AS Roma are also circling the 32-year-old.
England and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane once labelled Maguire one of the best defenders in English history.
“He’s a really good friend of mine, a great guy, and a really hardworking professional,” Kane explained.
“From an England point of view, he is one of our best defenders in recent times. I’d go as far to say as one of the best defenders in our history of our country in an England shirt.”

The Maguire links are hardly surprising, as Moyes has been chasing Maguire for several years.
In fact, when the Scotsman was in charge of West Ham United, he made multiple bids for the towering defender.
The potential transfer makes a lot of sense, especially with Michael Keane out of contract at the end of the season.
Maguire would be a great replacement for Keane and certainly an upgrade. He’d also provide a great threat from set-pieces.
