Everton midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye has now posted a three-word response to a brutal Sean Dyche training drill during pre-season.
The Toffees spent last week in a training camp in the Swiss Alps preparing for the 2023/24 Premier League season, as Sean Dyche put his squad through their paces.
Indeed, the Everton manager is renowned for demanding his players maintain peak levels of fitness, and no doubt he has a rigorous pre-season planned for the Toffees.

Indeed, Senegalese international Idrissa Gana Gueye has now responded to taking part in a brutal bleep test with Everton teammate Alex Iwobi.
In a video posted on Everton’s official Twitter account, the pair can be seen participating in the brutal training method, as Sean Dyche and his coaching staff watch on, shouting words of encouragement.
Taking to Twitter afterwards, Gana Gueye referenced the bleep test and joked: “Who invented this?”

Speaking with the Everton website about his plans for pre-season following the 2-1 friendly victory over Swiss side Nyon, Dyche said: “They’ll (the players) certainly have a tough first part of [next] week, and then really, we’ve locked in the basic stuff – the basic principle of fitness, and then it’s about building into the games programme.
There will still be some work in between that, but, obviously, a lot of that is down to the games programme – the tactical side, the technical side, and really sharpening up everyone for what the team looks like.”

Everton maintained top-flight status by a mere two points last season and the Toffees will be eager to avoid a third successive relegation scrap.
Indeed, the Blues will need to invest in quality in key areas of the pitch, such as the depleted forward line, but ensuring that the players are as fit as can be could also make a huge difference next season.
