Simon Jordan has slammed Everton and has claimed there is only so much Sean Dyche can do to help them.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the pundit insisted that the Toffees ‘need bodies in the building’ and admitted that ‘anyone they get in will be better’ than their current players.
Everton have come under heavy criticism after a terrible performance against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Despite a somewhat positive performance full of chances against Fulham, Dyche’s side failed to build on it as they travelled to Villa Park.

The Toffees were thrashed 4-0 in the Midlands and put on a horrific display, littered with mistakes and lacking any real determination or passion.
The club are desperate to bring in new attackers in the final days of the transfer window after already snapping up Jack Harrison, Youssef Chermiti and Arnaut Danjuma. However, there front three certainly weren’t the main issue at the weekend.

Jordan believes Everton are in huge trouble with the quality of their current crop, while he suggested that Dyche can’t work miracles with the ‘useless’ players that are available to him.
Simon Jordan believes ‘anyone would be better’ than the current Everton players
“In this moment they need to get some bodies in the building,” Jordan said. “Given that some of the bodies they have got in the building are bloody useless, anyone they get in will be better.
“Some of the defending on Sunday was inexcusable from so-called Premier League footballers. Sean has got to work with what he’s got and make it better, but it simply wasn’t good enough.

“This manager has got to get himself together with this side because they are going to be in a battle again this season.
“They’re not good enough. There isn’t enough about them and I do believe Sean will do so much but he can’t polish a turd and that’s what he’s got.”
