‘Incredible’ striker is dreaming of a Premier League move after Everton show interest in him

Everton still find themselves in the transfer market looking at possibilities to add to the impressive business they have done so far this summer.

Kevin Thelwell will be rather pleased with the signings he has been able to bring in this summer at Everton.

And he will be absolutely delighted by the start defender Jake O’Brien has made given the Irishman has now scored twice in two friendlies.

Sean Dyche has been handed signings which have covered the main areas of the pitch but there is still work that could be done.

When it comes to Everton’s issues from last year, scoring goals was undoubtedly the biggest problem the Toffees faced.

With just over three weeks remaining in the window, Everton could now be looking to bolster their front line.

Everton striker target is dreaming of Premier League move

There is no getting away from it, last season Everton ended the campaign with the second-worst record in front of goal.

Only bottom club Sheffield United returned a lower goal return across the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.

When clubs like Burnley are find the back of the net more often than you, that should act as a clear message in where your club needs to improve over the summer.

Everton have brought in Iliman Ndiaye so far this summer but there may still be questions as to whether enough has been done to improve the attack.

According to reports, Everton are already plotting a bid for Boulaye Dia from the Serie B side Salernitana this summer.

And as per Tutto Salernitana, the 27-year-old is now dreaming of a move to the Premier League.

His first choice this summer would be a move to England but the Senegalese striker would also be keen on a potential return back to Ligue 1.

The 27-year-old is receiving interest from around the continent with the striker seeing clubs from England, Spain and France all show an interest.

Dia struggled last season but in the 2022/23 campaign he was able to score 16 times in Serie A which saw him hailed as ‘incredible‘.

But it appears he has his ambitions of testing himself in the Premier League as Beto reportedly begins to receive interest from Atalanta.

Everton could lose Beto or Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Despite needing as much help as possible up top, it looks like Everton could be set to wave goodbye to one of their strikers this summer.

Beto is of interest to Champions League side Atalanta, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin has interest of his own.

Playing in the final year of his contract now, Calvert-Lewin did receive interest from Newcastle United earlier in the window.

An interesting few weeks lie ahead of Everton in the transfer window but there certainly seems like there could be some movement in the striker department.
