Dan Friedkin is still yet to make an appearance on Merseyside since taking over at Everton.
The Friedkin Group have provided a lot of stability to Everton since they were handed the keys back in late 2024.
Progression has also been evident on the pitch, with David Moyes pushing the Blues towards European qualification following years of relegation fears.
How would you rate The Friedkin Group’s first year at Everton? 👏
Given the improvements on the pitch, it does make it slightly surprising that Dan Friedkin has still not visited his significant investment at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Dan Friedkin set to attend Rome derby despite no Everton appearance
The Friedkins have met Roma’s management to discuss plans for the summer, amid Gian Piero Gasperini’s recent frustrations.
Dan and Ryan Friedkin are set to remain in the Italian capital to watch Roma host Lazio on Sunday.
With the American owners not expected to attend Sunday’s clash against Sunderland, Everton News’ finance expert Adam Williams has shared his thoughts on the lack of presence on Merseyside.
Why do you think Dan Friedkin still has not shown his face at Everton? 🤨
Since receiving the keys to Everton, Dan Friedkin has not visited his £400m purchase.
“I do think it’s somewhat strange that, as far as we are aware, he has not only failed to attend an Everton match but he hasn’t actually visited the city of Liverpool at all,” Williams told Everton News.
“I do think, if I was committing hundreds of millions of pounds to a project, I would want to see its incredible new stadium, meet the people who make the club tick, understand the community. You can’t do that from 4,500 miles away in Texas, even if your PR team says otherwise.”
Roma fans have recently protested against the Friedkins over their own frustrations towards the American billionaire.
“The cynic in me suggests that speaks to the fact that, at the end of the day, he is ultimately in Everton for the money,” Williams added.
“I fully appreciate that he is a busy man and it’s not easy to regularly come across the Atlantic for a 90-minute match, but it is odd. Part of your role as owner, in my view, is being one of the public faces of the club. All too often, that is left to the manager, not the billionaire owner. He is more public-facing at Roma, but it’s a low bar. There have been similar concerns there about his very, very low profile.
“You have to do a fair bit of digging online to actually find out what the bloke’s voice sounds like. And apart from the odd one-minute ambush interview on YouTube, most of his appearances have been to discuss his filmmaking, not sport.”
The first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is almost complete and a historic campaign will soon be in the past.
Moyes is urging the Friedkins to make smart transfer decisions this summer, with the Toffees looking to continue their progression under the Americans.
Although the results on the pitch are not affected by Dan Friedkin’s presence on Merseyside, an appearance would be welcomed by the supporters.
