Everton’s interest in Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has taken a fresh spin in recent hours.

It cannot be denied that Everton have endured a slow start to the summer transfer window, and it appears to be concerning their manager.

David Moyes has shared his transfer demands once again whilst over in the United States.

The game against Bournemouth highlighted the need for new recruits, with a solid first half showing coming undone due to a lack of options for Moyes to rotate.

Having dropped another transfer demand last week, it appears the Everton hierarchy are finally looking to push on in the market.

Everton do hold an interest in Grealish, but it is a complex deal which a number of clubs are looking at.

It would mark a real coup from The Friedkin Group and Grealish has now been told how he could even secure a permanent move to Merseyside.

Everton could still sanction permanent Jack Grealish deal

Having been left out of Man City’s Club World Cup squad, Grealish has been training alone in Italy to maintain his fitness levels.

City have now returned to training this week, and a resolution on the 29-year-old’s future will be in the works ahead of the new term.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Everton could still launch an ambitious permanent transfer for Grealish this summer.

However, the Toffees would require Grealish to take a major pay cut in order to bring him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

With this in mind, a loan move remains the most likely outcome for the former England winger.

Grealish has recently shared his love for Man City, but it seems as if Pep Guardiola is ready to move on from the winger.

In a crucial season for any England international hopefuls, a huge year is needed from Grealish if he stands any hope of playing in next year’s World Cup.

Everton need to go all out for Grealish

There is a belief that Man City value Grealish at £40m this summer, with a number of clubs across Europe showing an interest.

The 29-year-old needs to make a smart decision on his future in what seems to be a make-or-break time in his career.

Everton are a club to watch in the race to sign Grealish, with the likes of West Ham United and Newcastle United also being linked.

A lot could appeal to Grealish about a switch to Everton, as the 29-year-old would remain in the north west where he has now lived for years.

But there will be a lot of fine details that would need to be ironed out for this deal to go through.
