Jamie Carragher’s Everton history is no secret anymore, with the former defender’s past regularly discussed live on air.
The gap between the two Merseyside rivals has been closed down to just three points as Everton continue to improve under David Moyes.
Frustrations at the Hill Dickinson Stadium are clear having stuttered over the last two months in the Premier League.
Carragher has been impressed with Everton this season as they no longer have to fear another relegation battle.
How confident are you that Everton can finish above Liverpool this season? 🤩
The last time this happened was during the 2012/13 season… 😬
The Toffees will have an eye on the Merseyside Derby, which is now less than two months away in April.
Ahead of the first derby to be held at the new stadium, Carragher has now received an Everton gift live on air during CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage.

Jamie Carragher handed Everton present live on air
Everton proved Carragher so wrong with their recent victory over Aston Villa as the former Liverpool man predicted a hefty defeat.
It was the pundit’s birthday on Wednesday and he received a special gift as he turned 48 years old.
CBS producer Myles handed Carragher a personalised Everton shirt with his name and number on the back.
There are no wrong answers here! They have all been sensational this season 🔥
But which two are you starting if you're Moyes? 🤷♂️
In response, Carragher said: “Myles, I can’t wear that! But I’ll keep it, no problem.”
Carragher has previously mocked Everton-supporting Myles before during CBS’ coverage of the Champions League.
Presenter Kate Scott jokingly added: “A childhood dream come true for Jamie.”
Everton have a real opportunity to push on this season and close the gap on the big six, but more additions may still be needed in the final days of this window.

Carragher must tread carefully with his Everton jokes
The former Liverpool defender has not shied away from publicly mocking Everton, but the times are changing.
Under The Friedkin Group, Everton have taken some considerable steps forward over the course of the last 12 months.
Despite winning just two games in the last seven weeks, the Blues are sitting just three points off their city rivals.
Moyes is wanting Everton to push for Europe, which may be an uncomfortable conversation for some fans.
The reality is, with some consistency, Everton have no reason not to mount a charge for an ambitious European challenge in the remaining months of the campaign.
