A sensational return for former Everton player Jean-Philippe Gbamin is now on the cards in the coming months.
There have been a number of former Everton figures making their return to Merseyside over recent weeks.
Sean Dyche made his first visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium last month having taken on the job and Nottingham Forest.
More recently, Dominic Calvert-Lewin made his own Everton reunion on Monday evening when he returned to face the Blues with Leeds United.

Having signed for Everton back in 2019, Gbamin went on to make a mere eight appearances, where he played just 337 minutes.
Gbamin departed Everton in 2023 after the club terminated his deal, but he is now set to return to Merseyside.

Gbamin is now excelling in Ligue 1 with Metz as he now plays for his fourth club since departing Everton just over two years ago.
The midfielder’s time at Everton was nothing short of a disaster and he is now set for a taste of the stunning new stadium where he could have been playing at.

As per the recent announcement, the Hill Dickinson Stadium will host Scotland vs Ivory Coast in an international friendly.
It is just another example of the Friedkins flexing their muscles and securing Everton even more revenue opportunities.
Gbamin was a part of the Ivory Coast squad that recently played at the Africa Cup of Nations.
This will, therefore, offer him the opportunity to be involved at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 31 March.
Dyche begged Everton fans for a warm reception on his return back in December, but it will be interesting to see what kind of reception Gbamin may receive.
Gbamin will go down as one of Everton’s worst signings
Having cost Everton in the region of £25m, there is no doubt that the midfielder has to go down as one of the club’s worst-ever signings.
Given he played 337 minutes, Gbamin earned a stunning £74k per minute he actually played for Everton.
There have been some other players who have seriously underwhelmed after Everton brought them into the club.
Neal Maupay has signed for another club since his Everton exit, but Gbamin is on another level when it comes to what Everton got in return for their money.
