Everton are among the sides eyeing a sensational last-gasp transfer swoop for striker Jhon Duran.
The final days of the winter market could become hectic for Everton as they still await their first signing of the window.
On the back of a productive summer of spending, David Moyes would have hoped for more this month to really push on for the second half of the season.
It has been claimed that Everton are targeting Duran among a host of other striker names before Monday’s deadline.
Everton want Jhon Duran… would he be an upgrade on Thierno Barry? 👀
The 22-year-old is currently playing his football out on loan with Fenerbahce having left Aston Villa to join Al-Nassr in 2025.
Everton are receiving interest in Beto as they target an upgrade up front, as Duran has now voiced his thoughts on a move away from Turkey in these final days of the market.

What John Duran has told Fenerbahce amid Everton transfer interest
Moyes was keen to sign two strikers for Everton over the summer, but he was forced to settle with Thierno Barry.
It is certainly a position that is still lacking quality as the Blues remain in the hunt for a European push.
What should be Everton’s top priority before the deadline on Monday? 😬
The clock is ticking… ⏰
However, attention may be forced away from Duran as Turkish journalist Doruk Tecimer has claimed the striker wants to remain at Fenerbahce.
Tecimer reports that Duran has personally spoken to the management at Fenerbahce to inform them that he’s not considering a late departure.
This is not the news some Everton fans will want to hear with the clock ticking ahead of deadline day.
Everton News columnist Alan Myers has been desperate for Everton to sign another striker this month.
Options are certainly becoming more limited as the hours pass by, though.

Jhon Duran currently suffering from an injury issue
It may be a blessing in disguise potentially missing out on Duran as the striker is missing Fenerbahce’s Europa League game on Thursday due to injury.
The 22-year-old suffered a knock in training, which is going to keep him out of the crunch game against Steaua Bucharest.
Everton are now at a stage in the window where they may have to accept that business is not going to get done.
Thierno Barry has impressed Moyes of late, as he has been able to find some form in front of goal.
There is clearly a need for Everton to strengthen up front, but they will want to avoid making any late panic buys.
