Jermaine Beckford believes Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has gone under the radar in the Premier League this season for Everton.
The midfielder joined the Toffees from Chelsea in the summer, and has generally impressed fans with his all-action performances.
Who was your Man of the Match in that defeat to Man United? 🤔
There were some solid displays despite the loss
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has chipped in with goals, but has also shown tremendous work rate.
And it is that trait that former Everton striker Jermaine Beckford suggests some people may not fully appreciate.

Jermaine Beckford insists Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has gone under the radar
Beckford was the guest on Everton’s pre-match show last night on YouTube.
And it was there that he waxed lyrical about Dewsbury-Hall, insisting that the Englishman has done a sterling job in his first season at Everton.
He said: “He offers the freedom for the rest of the players, the hard workers and the grafters to win the ball back, give it to him and they can have their breather then.

“Don’t get me wrong, he works hard. He works really, really hard. And I love that about him. It think he’s been fantastic. He’s been one of those players who may have, in the grand scheme of the Premier League, gone under the radar ever so slightly.
“There’s no bells and whistles, he’s not shouting about it, ‘look at me, look at me’. But we see what he does on a weekly basis. We’re excited about it!
“He’s one of those players that can play in multiple positions. So (in terms of England) why would you not want somebody that is able to do that?”

Dewsbury-Hall has been money well spent
Some eyebrows were raised when Everton splashed £28 million (BBC Sport) on Dewsbury-Hall. But that fee is now looking pretty good value.

Ultimately, this is a player who can do a bit of everything. He can chip in in the final third, but he also runs his socks off.
To have landed a relatively complete English midfielder who is just about to come into his prime years for £28 million is smart business and very possibly, that fee could eventually look like a total snip.
