Everton suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the Premier League season.
David Moyes’ side were really poor and hardly threatened Tottenham’s goal as they didn’t have a shot on target until stoppage time.
Everton just couldn’t get going, and many will no doubt question why the likes of Tyler Dibling and Tyrique George weren’t given a chance from the first whistle.
How do you even sum up that performance? 😡
Utterly woeful from Everton on the final day…
Merlin Rohl was played out of position on the right flank this afternoon, and Jermaine Beckford feels he was actually at fault for the only goal in the game.

Jermaine Beckford singles out Merlin Rohl for switching off vs Tottenham
Everton conceded from a corner kick in the first half, with Joao Palhinha bundling it home at the second attempt.
Writing on BBC Sport’s website, Beckford highlighted that Rohl was really poor for the goal, as he had a lapse in concentration.
“Rohl, who has been really, really good since he came back into the Everton fold, just switches off at the corner,” the former Toffees centre-forward pointed out.
“Palhinha wins the first header at the back post, he readjusts his feet quickly and hits it first time into the bottom corner.”
That was a disgraceful performance from Everton… something has to change! 😤
Rohl, who is a central midfielder by trade, was pretty ineffective on the wing, which is understandable.
The 23-year-old touched the ball just 19 times and only made seven passes, so he hardly got a hold of the ball.
Moyes should really have handed some of the youngsters an opportunity, but clearly, he wanted more physicality in the side.
That approach has to change next season, as it’s massively holding the team back.
