Everton’s news feed has been dominated by one man across the last 12 hours, with John Textor’s recent claims commanding full attention.

And with good reason too, as the man seemingly poised to finally cut short Farhad Moshiri’s disappointing era.

His comments, and there were plenty of them, went into remarkable detail regarding the current position of his takeover and his chances of finalising a deal.

In fact, he even went as far as to outline what one of the contracts involved says.

John Textor reveals Farhad Moshiri contract details

John Textor conducted two interviews last night, both of which have been circulating social media, spreading like wildfire.

The first, chatting with French media, saw him deliver a sweeping overview of his takeover and its progress, but Textor did admit to getting businessmen with ‘terrific resources’ to help the Everton deal.

The second, however, seemingly chatting with Sky Sports, went far more into detail.

In fact, he even explained one contract he has with Farhad Moshiri, citing the takeover deadline they have set too.

He noted: ‘We have two that have made what we believe are good qualifying bids and we also still have the possibility that our partners may want it. They love the club as much as I do. We are now down to the final week or two of believing we know who the buyer is going to be.

‘The contract I have with Farhad [Moshiri] gives us a lot of time for that. There’s a long stop date of like November 30th that was set to make sure that we… I mean god forbid we can’t complete it by then, and I do believe we can complete it before then.

‘The documents that I’m going to have with Farhad are the complete closing documents subject only to the Premier League approval.

‘You’ve got to be ready but the next transfer window because this is a time to leap forward up the table from wherever they are. My challenge is to make sure I get in early enough to really deal with that.’

Everton surely nearing the completion of John Textor’s takeover…

Even though that deadline of late November has been set, there should be huge optimism that it will not take that long to finalise Textor’s Everton takeover.

After all, by all accounts, he is now progressing towards the completion of a deal.

The main hurdle that stood between him and the majority stake in Everton was the shares he still held in Crystal Palace, a fellow Premier League club that prevented him from moving on.

The division’s rules state that one entity cannot own two clubs in the same league.

So, he needed to get rid, but he has confirmed that they are making great strides towards doing that, even citing a few weeks as the potential timeframe for such an event.

When this occurs, he will be free to push forward with speed towards acquiring Everton.

With a clear desire to take control, and the financial power to make that a reality, there’s no reason why this process should drag on now.
