With Everton flying at the moment on the pitch, it is easy to forget all the moving pieces happening off it.
It feels like the Toffees are constantly fighting battles on all fronts just to stay afloat, with compensation claims, points deductions, relegation dogfights and more just scratching the surface of the past two years.
So, delving even further down to the players’ level, and the curious case of Dele Alli is one that has been sorely underplayed.
His return to the limelight was a triumphant one, given the torrid past he has endured, and upon speaking to Gary Neville he garnered widespread respect from the footballing world.
They now wait patiently for his comeback on the pitch, which Sean Dyche will hope is soon.
However, it still remains uncertain as to what might occur with that, given the various fiscal complications surrounding his move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Journalist Dean Jones has sought to offer his verdict now, telling GIVEMESPORT: ‘I really hope that Dele Alli basically gets a big say here in what actually happens and what he wants, because this is about protecting a player and a person more than anything.
‘We all saw the documentary with Gary Neville and in the days around that I think we all had extreme sympathy for him that we probably hadn’t had before that moment.
‘Even people close to him in football may not have realised the depths of the things that he’s been through in life.
‘So you get to this moment and I think it’s more about how Dele Allii can resurrect his football career at this moment. It’s going to be difficult to negotiate anything, it seems, between Everton and Tottenham, but they’ve got to find a way to get this going again.’
How good was Dele Alli?
To receive just a glimmer of the player that English football enjoyed during Dele’s early years in north London would instantly see the 27-year-old become one of Everton’s most important figures.
After all, he was truly world-class for a period, with the talent surely still laying dormant inside him, just waiting to be unleashed.
Should Dyche provide the perfect conditions for his safe return, and some kind of deal can be struck that allows him to further his career without the Toffees suffering huge financial repercussions, perhaps the £100k-per-week maestro might return the favour by recapturing that form.
Having moved from MK Dons, Mauricio Pochettino wasted no time in making him a Spurs mainstay in 2015.
It was an endeavour instantly rewarded, as Dele would score ten and assist nine in his debut year in the Premier League.

Unprecedented figures only set to be improved upon, reaching a career-high during the 2016/17 season as he recorded 27 goal contributions in the league to reach a reported £150m valuation.
The road has been long and tough for the former England international, but the whole world is praying for his safe and successful return which could come sooner than expected.
