Everton could be more likely to sign Rodrigo than Arnaut Danjuma this summer.
That’s according to journalist Alan Myers, who tweeted that he believes the Toffees have ‘more chance’ of landing the Leeds United attacker.
The Daily Mail reported that Everton have reignited their interest in Danjuma after he snubbed them back in January, despite passing a medical at Finch Farm.
The Dutchman instead joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan and could now be available for a second return to the Premier League, with Everton eager to be successful with their second attempt.
However, the Merseyside club have reportedly expressed interest in Rodrigo as it was revealed that he has a relegation release clause in his contract.
According to El Partidazo de COPE, the Spaniard is available for as little as €3.5 million (£3m) following the Whites return to the Championship and Everton are considering taking advantage of the deal.

Leeds are prepared to suffer a huge loss if Rodrigo leaves, having splashed out £27m on the former Valencia attacker in 2020.
Rodrigo or Arnaut Danjuma – which is a better deal for Everton?
Arnaut Danjuma is arguably the more exciting of the pair, having shown glimpses of his ability with Spurs and previously shining for Bournemouth.
However, the forward had two spells in the Premier League and scored only one goal in 23 matches in the top flight all together.
While he is also six years Rodrigo’s junior, Danjuma would only join the club on loan anyway so it is arguably irrelevant.
Meanwhile, Rodrigo has proven himself as a goalscorer with the Whites and has shown that he can also do it in a team struggling for both points and goals.
At only £3m, there seems to be very little risk in Everton’s pursuit of Rodrigo and he could be very useful as a squad player if they can also bring in another striker.
