Everton have already made contact to sign a number of players this summer transfer window.
David Moyes is exploring a deal to sign Gustavo Hamer from Sheffield United after his stellar season in the Championship, winning the Player of the Season award.
Moyes is also looking at Brighton’s Matt O’Riley, although, there’s been no word on whether the Seagulls would be willing to sanction his sale less than a year on from joining.
Richarlison continues to be linked with a move to Goodison Park, however, Alan Myers has poured cold water on those suggestions.
One of Everton’s other rumoured targets has been given a glowing reference by Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

Kevin De Bruyne says Everton target James McAtee has ‘really good quality’
Everton are in talks to sign Manchester City star James McAtee as they look to add more creativity to their ranks.
Days after making first contact, McAtee has now been left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the Club World Cup later this month.
So, at this stage, it seems as though Everton are well placed to land his signature, with talks likely to commence over the coming weeks.
De Bruyne has already given his seal of approval for the transfer, as he heaped praise on the 22-year-old following his impressive performance against Leicester City last December.
“To give us a bit of a bright spark will do him good but also for us. Maybe he gives Pep a little more confidence to play him. It can only be a good thing. He’s calm. He’s got a really good quality,” the Belgium international said.
Guardiola is a big fan of McAtee
Despite Guardiola’s willingness to offload McAtee, he has always been really complimentary about his ability.
Speaking after the youngster’s hat-trick against Salford earlier this year, the City boss said: “I am so happy for him, he is a special player. A hat trick is not easy.
“He has an incredible sense in front of goal, he has the right tempo, he changed the rhythm to score and I am very happy for him.”
Clearly, if Moyes is able to convince McAtee to make the switch to Merseyside this summer, it’d be a real coup, with so many interested parties.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest have all been looking at him over the last 12 months.
