Everton have enjoyed some real success in recent weeks, and now an impressive statistic has emerged which bodes well for Sean Dyche.
Everton have won three games on the bounce now and this has seen them rise out of the relegation zone and up to 13 points. This an annoying realisation given without the 10-point deduction, Sean Dyche would have his side firmly in the top half.
Last weekend started the run with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest. This was followed by a rampant 3-0 win over Newcastle United and then a 2-0 win against Chelsea this past weekend.
All three wins came alongside clean sheets which will have been something Dyche will have been delighted to see and is a brilliant omen for the remainder of this season and should see the top form continue.

Excellent Everton stat shows top form can continue
Everton’s impressive rise up the table has been built upon a strong defence which has seen three wins back to back. Now the full extent of Everton’s defensive solidity has been revealed with statistics confirming they’re now the third-best in the league.
According to Statman Dave, Everton have conceded just 20 goals this season which ranks as the third best in the Premier League, joint with Aston Villa. Only Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have conceded fewer than the Toffees which is a tremendous testament to Dyche’s team.
Everton have been so solid at the back due to the defensive duo they have had of James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite. Both are dominant defenders who are also switched on and smart footballers who have expertly turned Everton into a defensively sound outfit.
It is the defence which most great sides built their success from, and with that in mind, Everton should be extremely excited about the future.
Relegation already looks far beneath Dyche’s side
Despite only being a handful of points above the drop zone, due to the deduction, Everton’s place in the league isn’t accurate and they are far better than it shows.
Dyche has his side performing so much better than a relegation-threatened side and it seems ridiculous that it was considered a potential possibility not long ago.
it is very unlikely for a team as well-coached and solid as Everton are to be dragged into a relegation battle and instead by the end of this month, it seems likely that midtable will also be easily obtained.
